The 2008-09 Austrian Bundesliga champions will face FAI League of Ireland Premier Division champions Bohemians in the second qualifying round.

1) Marc Janko: The 26-year-old forward scored an impressive 35 goals in league last season. The Austrian international is tall [1.98 m (6 ft 6 in)] and is considered one of the league's top talents. He recently resigned with the club thru 2013.
2) Ibrahim Sekagya: The Ugandan international defender is a solid backline player and will be counted on to keep the RB Salzburg's defense together. Since arriving at the club in 2007, he has been a mainstay in the starting eleven.
3) Eddie Gustafsson: The Philadelphia born, Swedish international goalkeeper arrived at the club in 2009 and made 9 starts for RB Salzburg. After a career mainly in Scandinavia, is he ready for the Austrian Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League?
4) Alexander Zickler: Formerly of giant Bayern Munich (1993-2005), the 35-year-old German forward has reinvented himself in Austria; his teammates will look to him for veteran leadership as they attempt to progress to the group stages.
5) Dušan Švento: The 23-year-old left midfielder is one of the club's big money signings this summer. He will be counted on to provide an attacking option down the left.
